Let's not forget nearby Ligonier,  playground for the Mellon and Scaife families.

And brings back memories from the 1940s  of our annual family reunion at Idlewild Amusement Park.     As poor Appalachian kids, we saved our Christmas and Birthday money for this summer trip to the park.

Idlewild Park - Ligonier, Pennsylvania - Pennsylvania Historical ...

A couple pics circa. 1948-9 ?

@adsm08

Thanks to you I have the Muppets Mahna Mahna song stuck in my head because rhinoceros fits in there....

You are welcome.

I used to play a game at work with a guy where we fancied our conversation up by using big words. He was fluent, but not a native English speaker and rhinoceros was the biggest English word he knew. So now when I see someone doing that it's almost reflexive.

Here's our fishing kayaks on the rack I made for my Ranger:

(.22 is for the groundhog that has been tearing up the garage and anything else it can get into.)

Took one day after all the moving was done to poke around and look at fishing and hunting opportunities. When I get the time, it's going to be great here! I also plan to take my daughter to see Fallingwater.

Forgot to post pics of my GT-14. We changed battery, oil, fuel filter, trans filter, and trans fluid today. Forgot to grab an air filter. Tractor will now spin tires if rider-less against a tree. Right wheel spins if I'm sitting on it. Doesn't sound great, it will need engine and trans rebuild. PTO clutch is stuck on. Electrical is a mess, have one wire with a break that I have to jiggle with to get it to start. Will throw a wire nut on it until I redo electric.

:text-welcomeconfetti: That GT 14 is a real beast. As others mentioned the attachments are different than what most other wheel horse models will use. PTO staying on is likely a bad switch. Its an electric switch so likely needs replacing.
