Happy with how chassis came out, im straightening out pan and hood, hope to figure out a affordable single stage to shoot tin. I will read up on previous posted topic regarding. I will say this for anyone who is thinking of using Magic brand at TSC. Dont do it. It took more effort than it was worth to get flow right outta a HVLP gun. I will say the company's tech support called me back to discuss and tried to help. I mean if you thin it out much more than they say to, then yeah it will flow ok. Any idea how many cans you used? willing to post a few pics of C120 you painted? Poppy Red satin. Apple Red gloss. Cinnamon satin. Navajo white gloss. Some other blues and browns too. The only thing we see as a negative is the comparative hardness of the finish both immediately and over time. The 2X NEEDS to cure (not dry) for at least 2 MONTHS before it becomes even moderately chip resistant. After 6 months or a year the gas spills don't seem to be a serious problem. This is not an issue for us because we're building workers that are gonna get nicks and scratches. ... And then get quick touchups every year or two when they go to a show. The main reason we haven't switched over to using a spray gun is simple convenience. Trina sprays the parts as they're made ready. One by one.
