Keaton 451 #1 Posted August 12 today I got the hubs off my RJ finally, and this is a earlier I believe, made may 8th 1959 according to the tranny case, I've heard the dif bull gear and the break shaft? I think gear did not mesh well and it ate it up, I saw packrats fab on YouTube said he welded his and grinded them, what to I do, I know its most likely going to be expensive. I'll attack pictures its not terrible besides that that I can see so far, that last picture makes me want to cry myself to sleep or cringe, any advice

oliver2-44 9,847 #3 Posted August 12 dif bull gear and the break shaft? Interesting rough wear First glance one thinks trash metal bits in oil. But with it only happening to those 2 gears that cause doesn't seem to fit as other gears should also be chewed up. Count the number of teeth on those 2 gears and post the info. I'm wondering if someone been in there and has a mix of older and newer gear.
