Hospice is a wonderful organization and do their very best to make the process as comfortable as possible. As of this morning the medical team and my family are working on getting him home so he can rest in his own house for a few days. Lee1977 6,655 #31 Posted August 8 (edited) Sorry to hear about your father, just went through with my friend Bill spent most every Sunday afternoon with him fur the last 5 years.. At first it was for him to have someone to talk to, as his wife had dementia and he looked after her full time. After she died he got covis. got over that then had tongue cancer with treatments that lasted almost a year. In the end he had cancer four different areas. When my father passed his only desire was that he could be at home and we were able to make that happen for him. May God be with your mother and all of the family. We love all of you.
