Kenneth R Cluley 515 #1 Posted August 5 We got through another close call here, RedZ, North Florida, and all you Georgia/Carolina members watch this storm carefully! We have had 12" of rain in about 36 hours, damn near treading water here. Be safe and prepare for worst, and hope for best.

kpinnc 11,985 #5 Posted August 12 We supposedly got upwards of 8 inches over a couple days. Problem for us was the previous 6 days of "big ol fat rain" beforehand. Our flooding receded fairly quick here. A hundred miles south was a different story. The town my cousin lives in had 3 feet of standing water across the whole town. No complaints, as it definitely could've been worse...
Handy Don 12,204 #6 Posted August 12 Certainly has been a varied summer in in the NYC metro area Wet, lovely, wet, scorching, scorching, lovely, wet and the dregs of Debbie added 2” to the rain totals. Thankfully no power outages for us (the next block had a two-day outage last week). Not complaining at all since we’re managing well.
