Battery Tray Paint

Going to take care of some surface rust on a battery tray.  Figuring on starting with a baking soda wash to neutralize any remaining battery acid follow up with a wire brush to get to bare metal.

What have you folks used on your battery trays?  Think a spray on truck bed liner would be a good choice?

We've always just painted them.

It'll be interesting to see other answers.

I think you mentioned this once before and I adopted the idea and then added a rubber strip to the cross-bar as well

I've done similar with wood strips.

Wasn't because I wanted a vibration reduction or to protect the battery.

That was a good side effect though.

Spray paint and a rubber pad sounds like a good enough ideas, or you could prime it and then use plasti dip coating.

Little trick @Achto taught me.

Use anglle instead of strap. Little more beefier.
