Hooked up and ready to pull out.

My wife doesn't like to pull a trailer so all the driving will be on me.

Leaving this afternoon and will see how far I can make it.

First stop about 80 miles second stop about 160 miles. Total trip 205 miles.

About 5 hrs taking back roads to avoid Atlanta traffic.

Some cool stuff at the second stop.

The trip went very well and I didn't seem to have any fatigue although I did get tired easy and had to sit a lot to rest a few minutes when walking or while loading the trailer.

I had a good visit with @953 nut as we unloaded my trailer with his tractor and hydro transaxle and unloaded his pickup to my trailer.

My wife made the trip with me and wanted to do some looking around the area so Dick let me leave my loaded trailer at his shop.

I wanted to hit some flea markets and she wanted to ride to Cherokee.

I found a few tools at the flea market and we contributed to the economy in Cherokee.

On the way home we had to stop and check out these old vehicles.

There is a large flea market in Athens i have not been to in 15 years so we stopped to check it out. (It is huge but not as good as it used to be.)

I had taken a picture of the trailer loaded and hooked up this morning but somehow it got deleted.

Here is what I went to pick up.

Thank you Mike @squonk for the tiller, Randy @rjg854 for the breather elements and points cover, Richie @19richie66 for the plow, and Jo Mrs Buckrancher @buckrancher for the pan seat cushions. I also want to thank Dick for his generous contribution for the metal pieces ont the trailer and the nice seats for the Dump Truck build.

PS I also want to thank roadapples brother Guy for the 8 speed transaxle. In the picture above under the two wheel dolly.

If I could have attended it would probably have been a lot more because Wheel Horse anything is few and far between where I live. Every time I go I have to stack and pack.

Next year, I hope. We’ll help you pack if you don’t mind a lot of input on the best way!

Jay, it was great seeing you and knowing how well you are doing following Chemo. Glad you had a good visit to Western NC and hope you didn't contribute too much to the economy of Cherokee at the casino.      :jaw:

That little shop in Tallulah Falls has some neat stuff,      :handgestures-thumbupright:          but Tallulah  Falls is the worst speed trap in North Georgia.

I had plans to build a 953 teamed dump truck myself which is not going to happen because of my stroke. I want to see them used rather than sitting on a shelf and I can't think of anyone better to pass them on to than Jay. @BOB ELLISON made them up for me and I look forward to seeing Jay use them.

:tools-hammerdrill:     OK, vacation is over, get to work on that dump truck.       :ychain:

I enjoyed visiting with you as well Dick. I didn't see where your stroke has slowed you down much. Maybe limited you some but I felt you were doing very well.

I see the oncologist and the surgeon on Wednesday. Hopefully they will release me to start playing iny shop again.

We didn't contribute too much to the economy maybe a couple lunches for someone if they aren't too hungry.

I don't worry about speed traps anymore I learned a long time ago it's not the speeding ticket that hurt  it's the insurance premiums.

Well said. A four point conviction (11-20 mph over) here in NY can even lead to insurer declining coverage when it’s time to renew.
