Just need to clearly note front pulley location and make mounting spacers so engine pulley / belt lines up... Light to moderate snow on mostly level paved surfaces and I think 8hp would be ok. Predators are pretty light so not a lot of momentum in the flywheel. Heavy snow or hills or rough surfaces might be more challenging. I like @ebinmaine’s idea of a Kohler transplant -- even an 9hp Kohler would give you a pretty strong setup. I tested the stator but don't remember the exact voltage but I know it was good. I do not have a charging system on the stand. The S/G on my K181 is 15 amps (and I have NO electrical accessories at all 😁) but I know that some stators have fewer coils than others so are in the 3-5 amp range.
