Pogo 57 10 #1 Posted July 11 Just bought back my 875. The speed adjustment lever is very loose, not staying in selected speed. Is there an adjustment to tighten it up? Tractor also creeps when pedal is depressed. Thanks
rmaynard 15,580 #2 Posted July 11 (edited) The adjustment is explained in the owners manual. If you don't have one, you can download one from the manuals section. Edited July 11 by rmaynard
pfrederi 17,856 #4 Posted July 11 Look at this manual also. Clearer pictures The wheel a matics used two small springs to put tension on the plastic slider and thus try to hold the control lever. Not a great moment in WH design. Later hydros used a much better cone/spring design to keep the control lever from moving.
Mike'sHorseBarn 3,014 #5 Posted July 11 Keith, if you can't get it figured out I can adjust it for you at the centre hall show this fall.
squonk 41,291 #6 Posted July 11 I replaced the slotted screws that hold the tension plates on my 1075 with slightly longer Allen head screws with small flat washers to get a little more tension.
