grinchsr 633 #1 Posted July 8 What are the Onan owners using for a fuel filter these days? Is a 51 micron filter going to cause a fuel starvation issue?
WHX?? 48,911 #2 Posted July 9 Since I have many tractors I just go with the jungle cheapies in bulk. No issues so far even on the Onans. Sure I get a leaker once in awhile. No idea what the rating is on them.
peter lena 8,682 #3 Posted July 9 @grinchsr more often than not , fuel hose / related breakdown debris is the cause , have regularly run in a used engine on a seperate gallon of heavily treated fuel , for trial / effects , also went after fuel tank for lots of debris . BTW ues a large filter , just after tank , and a smaller one close to carb , regularly , check for effects , on any of my trials . also have fuel check valves on all my engines , so I can see standing fuel going to engine , pete
Bill D 1,928 #4 Posted July 10 I use Briggs filters. You can get them from Home Depot. 1/4" fitting on each side.
