Thanks Moparfan. How do you like those Red eyes. I guy two streets down has one.What a car. I am a Ford but those I really like. Sharp looking and OHHH  THAT SOUND when it starts up.

Those are “J” bolts to anchor the engine to the frame. The pans on the larger blocks have the feet outside the frame and not all of them have bolt sockets into the pan from below that line up with the frame.

Nothing really. it just adds a little bling as they say. Or dress it up a bit. Total garage queen. But nice to look at on a nice day.

Nothing. I picked up a 1257 in NY one time and it had these on there.I was the third owner.
