moe1965 743 #1 Posted June 27 I have a 857 with a starter generator. Last year I had issues and cleaned the points that I found when I removed the cover and the idiot light on the dash would turn off when the tractor was running showing that it was charging. I haven't started the tractor in about a year because I was busy working on other ones. I cleaned the points again and it's still not charging and the light on the dash is continuously on.
