Toro 5618 E-RING holds my C-100 axle in place.

Greetings,

What size do I need from the local hardware store for

Toro 5618 E-ring? Holds the front axle in place for my C-100.

That should be a 3/4 or .750 inch diameter pin.

Get the heavy duty one, if you can. Wider flanges.

Also, the ring is stamped, one edge is sharp and the other edge is somewhat rounded, put the rounded side toward the axle so the sharp edge will bite into the shaft when pressure is applied by axle movement.

If you use an e-clip, just snap it in place, but I recommend a retaining ring.

and install it with these pliers

Sk Professional Tools Retaining Ring Plier, 0.038" Tip Dia. 7638
