David Lindstrom 0 #1 Posted June 23 Restoring my 1974 D-18 with a hydrostatic drive system. Pump is not putting out pressure. Need a parts list for pump parts and where to get parts or can I find a working pump.
daveoman1966 3,752 #2 Posted June 24 Your D-18 (D-180) is now 50 YEARS OLD. Any substitute pump will also be 50 YEARS OLD...with likely same issues. Take the pump off and rebuild it yourself...not difficult at all---I've done a dozen or more. Here is the .pdf file to do that. SUNDSTRAND-Piston-Piston-PUMP-MOTOR-Refurb.pdf The hardest part is getting it off the tractor...but you'll have to do that anyway. You can still get the O-ring and Gasket set online--- Don't forget to overhaul the Hyd MOTOR too...as the wear in your pump will no doubt be cop[ied in the motor. David Lindstrom 0 #3 Posted June 24 Thank you for the information. It appears to be very complete. Are the parts still available and if so, where do I order them? Also, thank you for the prompt reply. I am looking forward to getting this tractor rebuilt.

pfrederi 17,743 #5 Posted June 24 If you do this get yourself a long reach socket allen wrench Makes removing manifold bolts from pump much easier Also make sure you have 5/16 and 3/8"' 12 point sockets (3/8 drive works)
