PWL216 889 #1 Posted June 23 Hey all. @c-series don did a fantastic job on his C-175. It made me curious…how and when is the featured tractor selected and who selects it? 2
Sparky-(Admin) 21,350 #2 Posted June 23 I think the WHCC committee makes the decision at the show. I heard a rumor what it is from a reputable source, but would rather not blab (plus I could be wrong and don’t want to spread false news)
953 nut 55,376 #3 Posted June 24 During his parade commentary Wild Bill said it would be the Work Horse models. 3
c-series don 8,730 #4 Posted June 24 After receiving clearance to release and confirm this information 😂 from a certain individual, yes it is the Work Horse models. Here’s the confirmation picture!! I’m the proud original owner of this GT-1800, and will be throwing a 40th birthday party for it in August. 1 12
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,332 #5 Posted June 24 Well I can’t say I am real excited about that choice but I guess the “gray” headed stepchildren need recognition too… lol

Handy Don 12,265 #7 Posted June 24 2 hours ago, stevebo said: the “gray” headed Yep, I resemble that too--as do a LOT of the show participants! It’ll be interesting to see if a bunch more gray shows up amidst all that RED! I suspect there might be a run on Work Horse decals as a few WHs undergo a “redo”! 2
Bill D 1,927 #8 Posted June 24 I like the Work Horse line. The Briggs engines are under appreciated. 2

So I purchased the 1800 engineless basically. He gave me the 16HP which I gave away.
AMC RULES 37,132 #18 Posted June 26 Nice! Just in time! My recent big show purchase. I recently acquired "Saltywright" Russ' original...from the dealer...black GT-1800. Always liked this tractor, and it's story. Super happy to have the opportunity to be it's new caretaker and honor the memory of our previous oldest RedSquare member. RIP Russ AKA Saltywright 2 5
