Well, I heard Saturday is pretty much too late.  Kind of a bummer.

Friday is best.   Some vendors leave Friday night.     Most all age gone by noon on Sat.

Definitely go Friday morning.   The earlier, the better and plan to make a day of it.  There is a lot to see and many people to talk to.  There is a lot of knowledge available.

Yea Friday morning is the best. I was down all day today and I'll be down all day tomorrow and vendors sold a boat load of stuff today!

By Friday morning 8:00 am , whatever is going to be there is already there and set-up. Saturday morning 11:00 we're shutting it down because it takes about 4-5 hrs to pack-up and load. Just had our best Thursday for sales yet, so I'm sure the other vendors did well also. Get there early cuz it might be gone by Saturday......

I usually go Saturday because I like going with my dad and this is a terrible time of year for him to take days off work.

He's retiring in January, so I might have to just start taking Show Friday off. I already don't use all of my PTO in a timely fashion most years.

I'd say get there on Thursday, between 2 and 4:00 pm, roam around, get some pie, then come back Friday morning and stay all day.  If that's not possible, definitely Friday. I stay at the Sleep Inn in Gettysburg. 20 minutes max to the show.

Several of us stay in Chambersburg at the Quality Inn. There aren't very many places to stay close to the fairgrounds but it is an easy drive.

Chambersburg is about 25 minutes west. Gettysburg is about 20 minutes east with plenty of hotels and the National Park for the historic battleground and cemetery. I’ve stayed happily in both towns.

Also, the fair grounds is not terribly far from Pine Grove Furnace, which has cabins that can be rented.

Attended big show last 2yrs. We stayed at an airbnb both times. Way nicer than a hotel & definitely less expensive. Also, staying someplace nice w/amenities like a hot tub helps make the trip a little more tolerable for the girlfriend! 🤣
