SnoJet 20 #1 Posted June 17 Hello and thank you for any help. My 416H lost power to the coil. It will turn over but will not start. If I run a jumper wire from the battery to the coil post it will start and run fine. I have checked and bypassed the seat and PTO switches. Any other advice? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,072 #4 Posted June 17 Download this file. One schematic shows what is required for ignition.
ri702bill 8,387 #5 Posted June 17 I believe that the 416H has that troublesome-over-time 9 pin connector...... probe the coil power wire on both sides of the connector with the key "ON"
SnoJet 20 #6 Posted June 17 Bingo! 9 pin connector was the culprit. Pulled it apart and reconnected and it works! Thank you! 2
Lane Ranger 10,974 #7 Posted June 17 You also have to watch for gnawed coil wires under the tins from mice. I had a 314 with that problem! Just had to purchase a new coil.
