Starter switch does not signal the solenoid to engage. Also burnt 9 pin.

If anyone out there is good with the electrics, I could really use your help. It started as a melted 30A fuse in the block that I couldn't remove. So I got rid of the block and replaced it with 3 online fuse holders. I got it rigged up to where the dash lights flashed once, like normal, then they died and the thing never flashed again. Spent 3 days digging, no shorts in the wires, but I found this in the 9 pin connector. Is the melting/corrosion down there the issue?

Also, on the top picture, the lower left pin is about 1/2 the length of the others.

I JUST GOTH THE DASH LIGHTS ON AGAIN. IT JUST WONT ENGAGE THE STARTER.

That 9 pin fails all the time from muffler heat ,moisture ect. The last 520 I had I replaced that 9 pin with 2 4 wire flat trailer plugs and move the whole mess to the other side of the tractor to get it away from that muffler. And yes those connections will cause a no start

All of the electrical connections to your engine go through the Nine Pin. I think @rmaynard sells replacement plugs.

I have run out of 9-pin connectors. My supplier cannot get more of the OEM ones. There are others available, but they are not a direct fit to the Wheel Horse ones, meaning you will have to replace both sides, even if only one side is burned. I will keep trying to find a source and if I do, I will make them available.

Couple of these work great. Put the connector on the other side.
