Drive Pulley Removal from Eaton1100

Anyone got any tips or tricks for removing the drive pulley from an Eaton 1100?  Chasing oil leaks on my 416H.  I had to install a Speedi Sleeve on the control shaft.  I may need to change the seal under the drive pulley as well.

i guess that i got lucky with all of mine as they just pulled off by hand after removing the bolt holding the fan.

Lucky.  This tractor sat out side for years before I got it.  Only 189 hours on it when I got it.  I don't expect to be that lucky.

Well, if you are not lucky then at least with the tire and fan out of the way (might as well pull the foot rest too for more room) you will see where you can spray in some penetrating oil.

You can put a puller on it but don't crank too hard as the pulley is some kind of cast material and will likely break.

Don't just pry on it because you might damage the hydro pump.

I'm going to see if the Speedi Sleeve on the motion control shaft solves the leak I was having.  The motion control shaft was rust pitted and wouldn't hold a seal.  I'd like to avoid pulling the drive pulley if possible.  If I do have to pull it does anyone have a seal number for it?  I prefer SKF seals since I can get them thru Rock Auto. 

 

Also, is there an SKF cross number for the 6449 axle seals?  Thanks.

After several applications of PB Blaster I used a puller and once a bit of pressure was applied I tapped on the pulley next to the shaft, gave it a little more pressure and tapped again and it popped right off.
