Hi all.  

 

Just listening mens 20 Twenty cricket live from New York! It's the world cup so quite a big deal.

 

Apparently USA v Canada was a cracking game to open the tournament. With USA winning a game they should have lost.

 

Anyone considering popping along to any games? Apparently it will challenge one of your national games, erm, rounders is it?

It’s a little over an hour away from me here on Long Island. I’ve seen a line news coverage on this, but that’s about it. I don’t know much, if anything about this sport. I will not be attending, as in my free time I’ll be preparing to go to the Big Show in Pennsylvania.

Well now, turns out you boys do know a thing or two about our national game!

 

Today you beat Pakistan,  one of the strongest teams in the tournament. 

 

And not in a small way either. You drew after 20 overs each and beat them 18 to 13 in the super over; one final over of six balls each team to score as many as possible.

 

That's a proper upset right there.  

 

Maybe the USA team are the dark horses we need to watch eh?
