Sparky-(Admin) 21,315 #1 Posted May 26 Greased up the 42” SD to mount up on my 315 and the center spindle wouldn’t take grease. Seems the zerk was wrecked. Hits the lift arm maybe? Lee1977 6,656 #7 Posted May 27 (edited) Do you have the hole in the lift pin for a spring clip and washer to keep the lift arm away from the grease fitting. I have also ground some metal off the bottom of the lift rod. Gave up and did like Rick above, only grease when the deck is off, and use a fine thread set screw to keep the dirt out.
