bkarp@roadrunner.com 6 #1 Posted May 22 Has anyone heard of engine oil leaking out of the carb. throttle opening with m12s kohler engine running, spark plug is clean. This makes no sense to me. Oil level in engine is not over filled.
953 nut 55,320 #2 Posted May 22 Kohler Magnums have a "pollution control" tube from the valve cover to the air intake of the breather rather than a crankcase vent. If you have worn piston rings resulting in blowby the pressure in the crankcase would cary oil vapors to the air cleaner housing. Doing a leak-down test will let you know where the problems are. 1
bkarp@roadrunner.com 6 #3 Posted May 22 thanks for the help, it has been burning more oil lately,i thought that could be the problem, going to look for a small engine rebuilder.
