Dealer I had said to use 30 weight in the engine and in the hydraulic Trans on my 20h rear.??

On any "classic" Eaton hydro (as in the pic), that is a safe assumption. Go with Rotella 10W-30 or similar. 

 

On an older machine with a Sundstrand, it's more complicated. Those hydros originally came with ATF in the transmission. Later Wheel Horse said motor oil was ok, provided you get all of the ATF out first. Personally, I still run ATF in any Sundstrand.

Sunstrands changed to motor oil around 73. I run Mobil 1 10W40 in my 76 C-160. I used 10W30 in the 2 Eaton 1100's I had.
