Ozz 7 #1 Posted May 16 Hi guys and gals, new guy here. I just bought a 1985 312-8 that is missing the knob on the shifter. I would like to install a knob but do not know the thread pitch. Any help would be much appreciated.
Pullstart 63,080 #2 Posted May 16 I BELIEVE it is just a standard 5/16” course thread. I just stuck a knob on one of my tractors a couple days ago. It is standard and 3/8”-16 was too big.

So, now I am wondering if all H/Ls are 5/16 and all 1-3s are 3/8 ??? Anyone have them both off?
