Saw this on marketplace for $100 and the only thing the seller knows is it won't stay running. Inherited I suppose. I can probably get it running. Anywho... I'm accustomed to seeing the model on the hood decal. Idk I'm better identifying 60s chevy trucks lol

I’d guess early 312-8, but like @daveoman1966 there is no question on whether to buy or not!

Thank you, yea I knew I'd get the "BUY IT NOW" response ^_^ lol. But agan thanks for the ID i just like to know what im buying. I just couldnt find a WH with the white decal on the hood lacking the model #. I messaged him, hopefully its not like 99.9% of marketplace items that are sold and never removed for whatever reason

You couldn't go wrong with that. A number on that particular decal wouldn't have helped. It's the wrong decal. :)

This is an early 312-8. They only used Kohler K motors for the first 2 years

Looking at the seat I would put that at a 1993 or 1994 310-8 to 314-8 with a replacement hood decal.

Looks like a 312-8 with a 48 inch side discharge deck and wheel weights.    If  you don't buy it today, I'm on my way tomorrow.

@RetroMower agree with others , on pick up , would go over basics , for operational function , oil / fuel / electrical , usually the collective amount of issues that kill them . probably something simple , pete

@RetroMower Can't believe you spotted one before Ed!  You better get moving, he doesn't let any grass grow under his Wheel Horses!

I'm really trying to nab this one. I can tell the guy saw my inquiry message but hasn't replied. I don't know why people do this ghosting on marketplace :angry-cussing:

Thanks anyway guys 😭
