RetroMower 349 #1 Posted May 13 (edited) Saw this on marketplace for $100 and the only thing the seller knows is it won't stay running. Inherited I suppose. I can probably get it running. Anywho... I'm accustomed to seeing the model on the hood decal. Idk I'm better identifying 60s chevy trucks lol Edited May 13 by RetroMower

Pullstart 62,884 #3 Posted May 13 I’d guess early 312-8, but like @daveoman1966 there is no question on whether to buy or not!
RetroMower 349 #4 Posted May 13 Thank you, yea I knew I'd get the "BUY IT NOW" response lol. But agan thanks for the ID i just like to know what im buying. I just couldnt find a WH with the white decal on the hood lacking the model #. I messaged him, hopefully its not like 99.9% of marketplace items that are sold and never removed for whatever reason
Racinbob 11,081 #5 Posted May 13 You couldn't go wrong with that. A number on that particular decal wouldn't have helped. It's the wrong decal.
midpack 866 #6 Posted May 13 This is an early 312-8. They only used Kohler K motors for the first 2 years
953 nut 55,230 #7 Posted May 13 (edited) Looking at the seat I would put that at a 1993 or 1994 310-8 to 314-8 with a replacement hood decal. Edited May 13 by 953 nut
Pullstart 62,884 #8 Posted May 13 Woah my tractor is in @953 nut‘S garage!

If you don't buy it today, I'm on my way tomorrow.
peter lena 8,628 #11 Posted May 13 @RetroMower agree with others , on pick up , would go over basics , for operational function , oil / fuel / electrical , usually the collective amount of issues that kill them . probably something simple , pete
