Mine is leaking at the ram seal .

Is this a hard fix and looking for the correct seal?

I have complete seal kits for cylinders with the large snap ring in the end.

If your 'ram' is the older type with welded shut ends, you can try this:  Did this to my 74 C-160 ram and it still does NOT leak.

For all the other style rams, there are seal kits available...

I think the RS Vendor 'Wheelhorsepartsnmore' also has kits...  Look in the VENDOR'S section.

Let us know what the model number of your :wh: is.  Lowell has the kits for all of them.

Yes...Champer (concave) slightly the INNER rim of the copper washer (plumbing supply store) ---that helps 'crimp' the rubber O-ring tightly around the shaft (3) to prevent leaks.  Drill the 3 holes to est 5/8" deep.  When all done, GENTLY tap the outer rim of the copper washer to contour neatly against the ram body.

Wheel horse parts and more will cut reseal and reweld your cylinder.  Have gotten at least two from him... work great...
