In the days of clamp-to-post (automotive style) batteries, the clamp would sometimes have a Packard 56 style tab for making additional wiring connections to the battery. I haven’t seen one of these in decades. Newer batteries for garden tractors use lug-bolt-style connectors so the wiring terminations all have holes that accommodate the bolt.
