Front Hitch Plate

Recommended Posts

PWL216

Hi all. Are there different versions of the front hitch plate for C series tractors? I’m trying to install the front hitch plate that I believe came with the C105 tractor. The problem I’m having is that the bolt holes lineup, but the hole at the bottom of the hitch plate that sits over the front axle pin is off by about a half an inch. Are there different plates which plates or am I doing something wrong?

By memory, I think that the release button goes on the left side of the tractor.

That axle pin can move up and down based on the angle of the axle. Try lifting the tractor frame off the ground a little.

We always install those while the axle has NO weight on it. Wheels on or off doesn't matter but the axle is hanging in the air.

Put the axle pin in its hole FIRST. Then line up the holes of the frame.

The axle hole in your tachmatic is badly wallowed out.  How loose is the pivot pin itself???
