Horse Newbie 7,069 #26 Posted May 9 (edited) How high does it raise ?… enough to need rubber bumpers to protect tractor ? That is excellent craftsmanship.. looks like a factory piece ! Edited May 9 by Horse Newbie

That is excellent craftsmanship.. looks like a factory piece ! Thanks Tim! Much appreciated! It only raises about 3 inches off the ground, but there's another inch of adjustment. I'll tweak it a little, but didn't want to loose any cut depth until I figure it out.
CCW 1,295 #28 Posted May 9 You have five slots angle adjustments. Do you find one of the angles to be most effective or is this still a work in progress?
Handy Don 12,232 #29 Posted May 9 (edited) Looks terrific. Even better now that it’s dirty! The 3-ish inch range of the rock shaft lift arm is a constraint, for sure. To increase the lift range a bit for mower decks and accommodate “forward” center of gravity lift point of the deck frame, WH added the extra lift arm , #27 here. Note, though, that their grader blade attaches right next to the lift chain, so almost no benefit of extra lift range! Edited May 9 by Handy Don

All depends on what I'm doing. But, I really like the "least" angle of the first detent. It moves material where I want, but without leaving a berm that I have to come back for on a second pass.

87 416-8 horse 420 #33 Posted May 10 I might of missed it but where does it attach? Does it use a snow plow axel bracket?

Only drawback would be the weight if used with manual lift. Definitely would need "Dial-a-height" for manual lift to set the cut depth. 2
cod 120 #35 Posted May 11 Nice looking grader. Think a strip of rubber along the top in the center, maybe 10 or 12" long, would keep the rocks off the pivot?

I was actually thinking of making a top edge guard that runs the full length. The top side of the blade is pretty sharp, maybe enough to be a little dangerous walking around it.
KyBlue 655 #37 Posted May 19 What a great build! That is certainly some top shelf skill you've got there. Looks like it works really well too, it's always a great feeling when things just work the way they're suppose to or even better than we'd hoped they would. 2

I like the 'overkill' style construction of it, nice and beefy. Seems to work well! Greetings from the Netherlands, Mark

WHX?? 48,815 #42 Posted June 22 Well done KP. Although I still have a nit of gravel to grade makes me want to rip up asphalt and go back to gravel drive... Still say a mid mount is the most useful attachment.
