Alamobrady30 46 #1 Posted April 27, 2024 Today I picked up a nice package deal. 1st was a 2003 cub cadet 1554 to uses as mower and 2nd was a older restored wheel horse 1054. Picked up both for $600. The cub runs flawlessly. The wheel horse had no spark. Guy said he tried points, condenser and plug etc to no avail. Checked the coil and it was dead. $25 standard products coil later and she fired off on 2nd revolution. Got the 48" deck with it to. Has brand new tires on all 4 corners and a nice paint job. Just missing the headlight brackets. I do have the grill , just not installed. Time to give her a bath before tucking her in the stable for the night. 6
Moparfanforever 868 #2 Posted April 27, 2024 (edited) Heck of a deal!! Hope to get me a 1054 one of these days. Your 1054 looks like it is in excellent condition. Is it restored?? Edited April 27, 2024 by Moparfanforever
Alamobrady30 46 #3 Posted April 27, 2024 Was restored I think he said 10 years ago. Been sitting in his garage. Used it for parades etc. Then it had no spark. It was just a coil. Looks and runs awesome. I also have a 1984 gt1800 in the platinum color paint scheme.

Great buy, the tires on the 1054 would cost nearly what you paid for both. Hope tha coil you bought has the internal resistor, if not you will want to ad an external resistor. 1
