psjoe 1 #1 Posted August 27, 2009 Hello- I am new today. I have a new interest in finding a Wheel Horse. As a kid I mowed with two Wheel Horses. The first I can not recall the model number but I do remember it had an 8hp engine and tall narrow rear tires, the second was a 312-8. Thanks - Joe

psjoe 1 #4 Posted August 27, 2009 Thanks guys. I posted a WTB ad, but it needs more info.. I also wanted to add that my father still mows with the 312-8. I have been mowing my 2 acres for the past 9 years with a Ferris BGF52KA which is a 52" belt drive zero-turn walk behind mower with a 14hp Kawasaki FC420V. -Joe
psjoe 1 #6 Posted August 27, 2009 Well I spoke to my father. The first Wheel Horse he purchased new was this http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=2420 A 500 Special. The second he still has is a 312-8, so I edited my above posts to reflect the 312-8.
