Amish and the eclipse

An older gentlemen in our Sunday School class is a driver for a couple of the Amish clans here in southwest Missouri.  He said he will be picking a van full of them up at 3 am tomorrow morning and driving them to watch the eclipse.  Another group has rented a motor coach to haul them to watch.  Several of us were kind of surprise that they were that interested. Some of the Amish are now using lawn  mowers to mow their yards while others still depend upon animals.  I guess it depends upon the clan leaders.
