Quite a few of the local pros use the bugs with good success with minimum labor. I just boil my skulls for the European mounts, then use Chlorox and peroxide for a wash and whitener. I clean the older mounts with a bit of linseed oil on a cloth. It picks up the dust and really brings life back into the antlers and horns.
