Ed Kennell 38,138 #1 Posted March 28 My good friend Charley Cordray called me for help on the mounting of the deck on his RJ55. I have very little experience with the RJ, but I took these pics to see if I could get him an answer. The The four deck arms do bolt to the two front and two rear holes on the tractor frame. The lift lever only has two positions, up for transport and down for mowing with no other positions. We are assuming a missing rod is required to connect the pin on the out side of the left rear support link to the lift mechanism. The rod would have to be threaded to adjust the deck cutting height. A picture or dwg of this rod and where it is connected to the tractor would be appreciated. There are no numbers on the deck.

Ed Kennell 38,138 #3 Posted March 28 It looks like his hanging bracket with the pin needs to be moved to front. Then make the ell shaped bar with the threaded height adjuster to connect to the lift lever. Charlie will thank you when I show this to him. Did I show you Charlies collection when you were here a few years back?

On the 4 ears that mount to the frame there is 2 long bolts that go from one side of the frame to the other To hold them on . You could however use 4 bolts which would work fine . As far as your lift link there is a link that connects from the left front deck support arm to the lift handle . That lift link has a threaded rod with a jam nut which is adjustable and will hit the top of the frame . This will allow you do adjust your deck cutting height . 1
Ed Kennell 38,138 #5 Posted March 28 He has the hangers reversed and is missing this connecting link. We can make the link. A dimension between the two holes would save some trial and error.
