Marty Taylor 4 #1 Posted March 27 Will an Eaton 1100 Hydro pump fit on a 516-H? I know the 516-H was built with the Eaton 700, but I need a new pump and was wondering if the Eaton 1100 will fit. Thanks.
Tuneup 1,433 #2 Posted March 27 As I recall, you only have to address the reversed linkage and address the lift cylinder. Someone will come along with specifics. Highly preferred 11 over the 7 but my 7 has been great and has not overheated since I put the 15W-50 in it.
kpinnc 12,358 #3 Posted March 27 (edited) The 1100 will fit, though I'd recommend replacing the whole tranny if it's an option. There are a couple more things to consider: The 1100 has a coaxial charge pump for hydraulics, which serves as a return through the filter as well. There are lines to plumb that don't exist on a 516-H. A transaxle (just a closed gearbox from a 700) that has never had the oil filtered would be a concern to me. But to answer your question, yes an 1100 will fit so long as you get the gear for the pump with it. There is an adapter plate that you'll have to remove where the pump mounts.
