68CommandoGuy 0 #1 Posted February 20 Hi, guys. I have a 1969 Wheel Horse Raider with a Tecumseh HH100 engine. It has a Walbro LME 36 carburetor that I would like to replace. Can I replace with a Tecumseh carburetor? (If so, what number would the carb be, and will it need any modifications to linkage, etc.?)
ebinmaine 67,426 #2 Posted February 20 You might be able to use a carb from a Kohler 8.

I have two of those. 1 if it were to fit, I’d try it! 2 the carb and engine don’t much care what brand they are. The engine will suck, squeeze, bang blow. The carb will supply the fuel and air to make the bang. 3
wallfish 16,994 #5 Posted February 21 @squonk Mike will tell you all about Tecumseh carbs and engines if he doesn't fall asleep before the end of his long rant! LOL Not 100% but I remember seeing that LME designation on Teccy engines and think they switched to those Walbro carbs. So basically you might already have a Teccy carb for it. Is that carb rebuildable or what's the issue with the carb that it needs to be replaced ?
