ANTPER 207 #1 Posted February 13 Hello Folks Just asking on a recommendation on shade of white you have used to get close to the current color on wheels. Almost looks like an antique white. The body touch up I may leave alone as its gonna impossible to match the faded red. I'll try compound it out to give it little more luster. TIA. peter lena 8,579 #2 Posted February 13 @ANTPER personally like the original shade of NAVAJO WHITE , https://www.google.com/search?q=navajo+white+spray+paint&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS866US866&oq=navajo+white+&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBwgIEAAYgAQyBggAE , using this on repaints / touch up just is a very good fit, also shop around for pricing / availability . pete
ebinmaine 67,203 #3 Posted February 13 We use the Rust-Oleum 2x Navajo White. Some folks prefer a much darker tan tone. I've seen people use almond as well. We've had some mid-60s Wheels off and the Navajo color seems to be dead on.
Ed Kennell 37,998 #4 Posted February 13 I use the almond with good results and it is available at my local ACE Hardware. Rust-Oleum 12 oz Stops Rust Protective Enamel Spray Paint - Hardwares Online Sale (haxishop.com)

JimSraj 424 #7 Posted February 13 Anyone ever use appliance Epoxy paint?
Skwerl58 702 #8 Posted February 13 I used Rustoleum Ivory Bisque on my 1054 wheels. It is not a bright white or a darker tinted white. It depends on what you prefer, other tractors white wheels look great also. 2
Pullstart 62,757 #9 Posted February 13 1 hour ago, JimSraj said: Anyone ever use appliance Epoxy paint? Not in any white shade, but I have tossed some gloss black on a thing or two. I hadn’t heard of it before but saw a handful of cans on the clearance shelf at my local ACE. I took a chance and wish now, that there was still more so cheap! It’s hard, durable and dries fast!
kpinnc 11,869 #10 Posted February 13 (edited) It's your machine to do with as you wish, so take this with a grain of salt... If you're going for accuracy that the WH police can't gripe about, then almond is closer to correct for anything prior to the early 70s, with a lighter "linen" color used afterwards- particularly after 73. I don't have any C-series machines, so it's pretty much all I use on the older tractors. The pic below is Rust-Oleum Almond. My Bronco is close to the same tractor as a C-series, so the last pic is for reference. Edited February 13 by kpinnc 6 2

One side Nav. white other side almond. I'll get the best of both worlds and you won't even notice the difference unless you walk around it. 1

Put the model number from the tractor in the search key here on Redsquare. There's a way to decipher it on some models too.

c-series don 8,652 #21 Posted February 14 @kpinnc As a Sargent in the Wheel Horse Police Department I think your Rustoleum almond is about as close as you can get to the factory color. Anyone disagreeing will be subject to disciplinary action. 1
