Rick3478 428 #1 Posted February 1 I had about 8 or 9 Robins in my back yard today, totally unexpected. Can they be returning already? If so, it's way early. Or are they just now heading South for the Winter?
WHX?? 48,814 #2 Posted February 1 Where you at Rick? South Central WI here. Wife said she saw one and heard spring songbirds. I dunno man she kinda funny... They say Robins will stay year round if there is food available. I have crabapple trees and they say they can eat the berries.
Beap52 809 #3 Posted February 1 We had 25 or so robins in our neighborhood earlier this week. Wife and I both commented on them. We had a pair of sparrows checking our the blue bird houses today. It'd be nice if they know something we don't (like really early spring) but I doubt that's gonna happen. I am enjoying this mid 60 degree weather though.

He was headed for his burrow to hide after being spooked by his shadow. We'll see what happens on the official Groundhog day tomorrow.
