ML3 1,197 #26 Posted February 20 Hoping to make it again this year. Idk if I'll be able to bring any tractors. June is a very busy month thus year for me. My daughter graduates on June 1st. Have an out of town wedding June 8th. Daughters graduation party June 29th. Ugh! Hoping to have a new truck by then. If not I may just rent a van so I could at least take a couple tractors. Looked into renting a Penske stake body truck w/liftgate. Get killed on the mileage charges as it's about 550-600mi round-trip.

Tractorhead 9,064 #31 Posted February 25 I just have to calm down my Trottle foot. 🤪 i knew this can be very expensive....😎 ....... don‘t ask why i knew this...... You forgot maybe, i live in Bavaria.. Here we have few miles Autobahn, what can be freely driven as long as there is no electric Car like Tesla or Polestar to prevent this. Did you ever drive in Munich or Berlin? So you guy‘s don‘t have worries about. Chaotic traffic can not kill me, that’s for shure - much more dangerous for me are Summer temperatures below 18deg.C That is really dangerous for me.. 😎🥳 closely to fridge... 😇 😂 2

Yes, I’ve driven quite a bit in urban and rural Germany including some long, fast stretches on the Autobahn (Salzburg to München, for example). VERY different than driving in the USA. I also heeded warnings about traffic law enforcement and avoided attracting unwanted attention. I did learn that compared to most places in the USA, where one can get a driving license with relatively little testing for competency and at little expense, German learners’ costs and testing are much higher.

Tractorhead 9,064 #38 Posted February 26 I don‘t wanna stay the whole time on one place. Plan is follow: Fix: go to the Big Show and see ya Guy‘s and fella‘s. before and after the Show: see the gettysburg Historical Museum and battlefield. Meet few fellas here and there. Having fun few Day‘s. I just struggling because i can‘t get any confirmation for a Rooms from here for this timeline. and 300$ just for a night to sleep - no sorry, i‘m allone. Up to 100$ a night is my personal limit. much expensiver rooms between 250 and 300$ be „no problem“ but fair priced rooms i just recieve a „maybe“ confirmation. Hear sometimes i have to pay advance but it can be happen the room is not available... - what?🤪 Independently of that Fair priced rooms finding from here seems to be strange, but i ain’t fear. I will find any solution and if i just purchase quick a small tent. just for the first night in NY i look for a option, but got a first offer.
