dkg520 523 #1 Posted January 31, 2024 I have a 1962 Wheel Horse that has only this on the left side of the frame. What am I missing to complete it? Thanks.
leabassett@sbcglobal.net 156 #2 Posted January 31, 2024 It may be a mower deck mount but you would need one on the other side also.
wallfish 17,485 #3 Posted January 31, 2024 (edited) The same thing. It bolts to the other side of the frame. It was removed to get the deck off and got lost with that deck. It wasn't a quick attach back then although it still didn't take very long. Edited January 31, 2024 by wallfish
953 nut 57,853 #4 Posted January 31, 2024 (edited) The plate on your tractor does not look like the snow plow/front mower mount. Here is the manual for a 1958 snow plow with a similar bracket. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/238-blade-dozer-42in-1955-1959-spr-42-snow-om-ipl-snpdf/ Edited January 31, 2024 by 953 nut
Handy Don 13,340 #5 Posted February 1, 2024 Pair of plates like that held the dozer plow or the mower on the late 60’s Lawn Rangers. Having to remove two bolts to switch implements (and mess with another bracket at the rockshaft) well it sure makes that attach-a-mattic look good!
squonk 42,513 #6 Posted February 1, 2024 I put all the parts from a 64 704 on a 701. Just had to remove 2 hitch pins to take the deck on and off.
