JParrow 0 #1 Posted January 30, 2024 I have a 1973 and all 4 tires are completely dry rotted. They do not hold air. I am trying to fine a replacement tire 22.5 x 7.50 x12 2-ply rated (rear tires) front tires I cannot read the size. Are replacement tires available and if not what do you do? are there replacement wheels and tires that fit the hub pattern?
kpinnc 12,901 #2 Posted January 30, 2024 I wouldn't change wheels, unless they are too rotted to clean up. Offsets and front axle hub width will be issues that are hard to verify until you've already spent money. So far as tires, 23x8.50-12 are very common and won't give any fitment issues on the rear. 16x6.50-8 for the fronts. 4

ri702bill 8,614 #4 Posted January 30, 2024 (edited) Welcome. Plan to use the tractor for plowing? You may consider using AG tires up front to improve steering in the snow.... no issue on grass in the summer too. Edited January 30, 2024 by ri702bill

Lee1977 6,894 #7 Posted January 30, 2024 Deestone 400 x 8 triribs work great on 4" wide wheels. The older tractors came with 4" wide wheels and 16 x 5.50 x 8 tires that are no longer avabable. The 16 x 6.50 x 8 work a lot better on 5 3/8" wide wheels that came with later model tractors.
