Lagersolut 669 #1 Posted January 27 Getting spare drive belts for my -2005 - 315-8 classic and 1986 416-8 Kohler K341 single cylinder - the parts diagram lists a 7473 and 108501 for the 416 - the 6 digit number is a lighter belt compared to the 7473 .....315 8 takes the 7473 - think I ran into this confusion a few years ago I'm trying to get my bearings straight on these belts . 5/8's on the 7473 - 7/16th's on the 108501 Is there a reason a lighter belt went on a 400 series 8 speed ? Lagersolut 669 #5 Posted January 28 The 416 was produced with 2 engines and 2 transmissions - parts page lists both belts - one for auto vs 8 or Kohler vs Onan ? https://www.jackssmallengines.com/jacks-parts-lookup/manufacturer/toro/riding-products/1986/31-16k802-416-8-garden-tractor-1986/drive-belt-and-pulleys
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,090 #6 Posted January 28 31-16K802 uses a Kohler engine. Suspect I got this from the belt charts for this model. Transmission drive belt 78-7100 replaced by 7473 - HB x 81.9" or 5/8" x 81.9" or

So now I have 2 belts to take back exchange for the right ones - number on the old belt is almost gone - was able to decipher with a little cleaner and scrubbing
