This came factory on it this blade

Can you post a close up of the numbers on that plow blade? I'm curious to know what it came off of.

I made it a part of my front weight carrier.  need that weight to counter the side push of eh 56 inch blade.  You have to slot the hole in the plow frame part to allow for raising an lowering the blade.  Leave it snug on the sides...

Paul, what did you use for Rod there? 3/4-in and then threaded at the top?

Upon further inspection I think that's the original lift point it came with about a 3 foot rod like the one used to operate the angle control lever and the bracket that is on the deck lift arm is not factory and painted a different color

So here's some interesting information. The bracket you're looking for information on is, as you stated a couple posts back, the original lift bracket. It fits a 260 series. It was not intended to fit a B C 3 or 400.

If you click on the link above, you can see where one of our members adapted a 260 plow frame to his own 3 4 500.

So that's not actually a stabilizer bracket. Seems to function just fine as one though.

Aha,  as Mr. Frank Harvey would say "And now we know the rest of the story.".

He was the best Don.    I was curious how many ol'timers would remember him.   I am surprised a young guy your age remembers his show.

Young guy? Thanks!

My mom was a continuous radio listener to WBRE in Wilkes-Barre during my youth.

WOR in NYC was my station. They were doing new and recorded radio drama shows into the 80’s and I would listen in the car while waiting to pick up my wife from grad school.

I remember Paul Harvey quite well.

Always meant break time so my father could listen.

I enjoyed listening to Paul very much.

@sparkys toy  another vital part of  plow  /  blade set up is to build it up on 2 milk crates , one up front  just behind  quadrant area , the other in  the back of frame , giving you a TOTAL LOOK SEE AT EVERY FUNCTION ! correct / improve as you go , also set up swing lever mounting / detailing , to improve and eliminate drag , this crate support state , is exactly like hanging from  tractor . have someone else , swing lever / plow , so you can watch and improve . those elastic nuts , washers , lube let you , dial in a perfect easy movement , and lock nut it in place . note the squeeze lever , pull rod , small channel lock , tighten up end connections, eliminate play , lubricate . oil down plow blade front , for snow slide .what ever you build in , is exactly what you will hook up , done this for years , that quadrant , will / should work like a rifle bolt , smooth / very solid , improve it , Pete
