JoeM 7,885 #1 Posted January 14, 2024 While most of the country is in the cold zone, might want to read this file and get a few tips on mower deck cut. I figure it is here somewhere but just fluffing up the need for spring. WH Toro Quality of Cut Manual.pdf 2

Switch those side extensions. Most of the blowers I see have them on backwards, so it must work. Use a couple 12" adjustables to put some wavy bends in the auger edges. I've seen this alot...must grip the snow better. 2

Oh, so all those old blowers with the wavy auger edges are from throwing rocks? And I always thought that, and installing the side extensions backwards, was a Wheel Horse sanctioned dealer modification. 1

Lane Ranger 11,069 #11 Posted January 15, 2024 A little bit at a time! I learned on my old 6 hp Lawn Ranger and it always did the job. I used this a couple years but not enough snow to justify!

WHX?? 49,919 #15 Posted January 15, 2024 (edited) Sorry Joe didn't mean to turn this into a blower thread... I just happened to be putting a new scraper bar on. The bar is available thru many sources but they are @Sparky s gold infused. @wheelhorseman doesn't have them but hopefully I lit a 🔥 under him to make some. I ended up using one from a plow blade Dan and i made. Worked pretty good @Achto. All but four holes lined up. Me thinks you may have yer seasons mixed up tho Joe...
