Starter Gen, how do you test power output.

Sounds good ... check the description very carefully. Some of these regs are only three terminal ones. They do not have the L terminal. All horses used the four term ones because of the cigar lighter and possibly lights. Not a huge deal breaker. They will still work.

@RED-Z06, back in the day, I worked at an auto/ag electrical repair shop. We changed a lot of field coils using an impact driver to loosen and tighten the screws on the field case. Worked well. Loosening goes a bit easier if you put the ball of a ball peen hammer on the screw head and hit it with another hammer. It distorts/caves in the screw head slightly making them come out easier. Eventually our shop got a jig to remove and replace field case screws. It worked slick! -JD-

This one is on a 702, its pretty no frills.  If I could find oem lights id go that route.

Hopefully it doesnt come to that, but im up for the challenge if need be.
