T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,529 #1 Posted January 10, 2024 I bought this just before the end of the year. Drove 4 plus hours one way into a foreign country (Illinois) to pick it up. Runs good, but I'll need to add rear weight ballast. Either I buy a ballast box or I can use my Ford reversible scoop and add weight to it. Also, no power steering, so that's a bummer, but it won't see a lot of use, but will come in handy on occasion. 13

Maxwell-8 4,366 #4 Posted January 10, 2024 Looks like a good decent machine. I really like the nose on those tractors. 50 minutes ago, ri702bill said: one serious bucket there... 3 yard cacacity?? If it can lift that?
oliver2-44 9,976 #5 Posted January 10, 2024 (edited) Nice original Jubilee! Those are very solid loaders, You don't find much repair welding on them even at their age. Looks like some lift cylinder front seals are needed. Yes, that's a very serious bucket. I like the long ramps on your trailer, that vertical foot sure helps when loading something heavy Edited January 10, 2024 by oliver2-44

For the rest of the time it's up to the operator to understand and account for what's being lifted. Some folks here create or modify a bucket for heavy loads that still clears the width of the tires by making it wide and shallow. Capacity is greatly reduced so obviously the weight would be as well. Sailman 1,298 #7 Posted January 10, 2024 Grew up driving my grandpa's Jubilee "Henry". That one you have has some SERIOUS rear tires! Fluid in those tires would help a lot with rear end counter weight. Nice find with the loader.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,529 #8 Posted January 11, 2024 I do wish the bucket was a bit smaller - it's a pretty large bucket. The rear tires aren't loaded and are 13-28....the Jubilee came out with 10-28 tires, I believe, with 11-28 optional, so these are a bit larger. The front tires are a bit oversized as well.
