Darb1964 1,043 #6 Posted January 10 We had ten inches of snow late Saturday night into Sunday, now snowing hard with about three inches on the ground. Supposed to change over to rain, high wind and flooding watch for the Berkshires.
kpinnc 12,083 #7 Posted January 10 (edited) 2:30AM, and the wind is still over 45mph. More than 20 roads closed in the county for flooding. Definitely had some rain today! You guys up north of us can keep the snow. Even with the flooding, it will dry back out faster than snow would melt. Edited January 10 by kpinnc
953 nut 55,298 #8 Posted January 10 We got a dusting of snow this morning. Yesterday the rain and wind were reminiscent of tropical storms when we lived in Florida. Lots of flooding in low areas but no problems at our house.
peter lena 8,634 #9 Posted January 10 @Lee1977 had like 3 / 4 inches of wind blown rain , glad I set up the calf hutch generator , night before , of course there were no outages in my area , but if I hadn't , my sump pump would not have run . just keeping up with what's going on , Pete
rjg854 11,378 #10 Posted January 10 Big gusting winds last night. Knocked our power out at about 10:00 p.m. This morning we've got trees down, and the driveway is blocked with a tree down across the power lines so still no power. Luckily I have a generator so I have power and heat. We spent about 3 hours picking up all the sticks. The trees will have to wait till later because it's starting to rain now. 1
