Makes me hungry just looking at the pictures. Not to get this thread off the tracks, but what is your preferred method of cooking your bacon. I used to pan-fry mine in cast iron, but now with four growing grandsons, I can't keep up when they come for "Bob's" breakfast. So I have gone to a large sheet pan in the oven at 350 till crispy.

I could just hear it sizzling in the pan, even before playing the video.

I can just imagine the taste, which is so disgusting.

Because I want to really taste it:D

What a teaser!

I started cooking bacon outside on the Blackstone griddle. As clearly stated previously, I love bacon. I just don't like the house smelling like it for 24 hours afterwards.

@rmaynard how does the stove method work out? Always wanted to try that, especially with some brown sugar and... I need to shut up before I end up in the dang kitchen!

My daughter-in-law does it in the oven when ever we sleep over. It's excellent.  Me, I still use my OLD (it was old when I got it) cast iron pan. Hard to break old habits.

Lay out the bacon slices on a pan that's about 1/2" deep. Put it in a 350 degree oven for about 20-30 minutes. Keep an eye on it and when the bacon gets crispy, remove the pan and place the strips on paper towel to soak up the grease.

Yep oven till crispy/chewy the way we like it.  Cast iron is all I cook with so that would be the close second option.

@Treepep  personally .been doing  bacon in the microwave , for years , takes about  4 min  20 sec . 4 slices  per sandwich . key is  paper pate and paper towels to absorb , melted fat . after following  how its going , right up to crisping point . go thru a drying stage , put bacon on , dry paper towels , drying rack , that assures , dry crispy bacon , 4 slices , broken in half , makes a double layer also like , Arnold whole grains , supports digestive health bread , toasted , mayo . lettuce / tomato . crispy / crunchy , just my , bacon strips , Pete
