AJ Desalvo 22 #1 Posted January 4, 2024 Good morning Members!! Just wondering… My research suggests that a Champion plug RCJ-8 belongs in my K181. A Champion H-10C was installed in the engine at the time I purchased my Horse.. Probably a mistake or maybe a performance issue?? I welcome your opinions and suggestions.. Btw.. WHX?? 50,698 #3 Posted January 4, 2024 H-10 is the correct plug for big blocks tho. K241, 301 and up. Since the J-8 was such a common plug there are many crosses & substitutes should the rack be empty as often with my luck. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Good quality that h10 is just a touch hotter then the j8 if it ran good on the h10 pull lever B. And if you want a hotter plug a nice replacement for the 216is the autolite 437 If you are getting fouling from a combination of a tired engine and wonderful high quality gas.
